National Theatre
Show campaigns
2024-5
The National Theatre announces around 20 productions each year, released in 3 to 4 major marketing bursts. To maximise impact and ensure creative consistency, we develop a single overarching concept for each campaign, encompassing both key artwork and trailers, captured in still and moving image during the same shoot. I led the creative direction from concept to delivery: pitching ideas to directors and writers, shaping the visual approach, and making key decisions for costume, props, and hair and make-up. I also oversee the shoot itself, directing cast performance for video, and providing art direction for the stills. Social content was produced to support the key artwork and trailer, this could include press night vox pops, cast, writer or director interviews, behind-the-scenes footage or short form content on the craft of making the production.
